We were also treated to a mural unveiling on a wood shed which also should get an award for being a 'green' building with the heavy use of recycled materials.
It was a great afternoon of food and camaraderie with my Lesley friends catching up on family vacations and house projects. Thankfully there was not too much talk of the impending end of summer that is coming a few short weeks.
Finally some advice from Linda-Claire, next time I go to Estacada I will remember my double underwear as it can get pretty wild in the woods!

It was a pleasure to hostess such a fun event. The dogs are invited back anytime, along with their owners. Deb, you must bring Hava next time and Erin, if you don't have a dog, you need to work on that. : ) Linda-Claire is pleased that her advice has been passed on in regard to undergarments. She just had a horseback riding lesson today and had a couple pairs on!

Peach our chocolate lab would have loved to get in on all the action. I left her home cause I didn't want her to shame all the other dog's fetching skills. I'll be sure to bring her next time. Margie, thanks for having us. You have a beautiful place and I loved being able to spend time with your whole family. Linda-Claire was a hoot. See you all soon!
